What are the Tax Implications of the Obama Healthcare Plan?

The Healthcare Area Meeting held in Macon was a big success. Bill Brett of Federated Insurance spoke about 'Health Care Reform & Health Insurance' as well as controlling company health insurance premiums. Terry Parker, CPA of Clifton, Lipford, Hardison & Parker, LLC gave an informative speech regarding the 'Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act' and the 'Health Care and Reconciliation Act of 2010.' Thank you Yokohama, Hankook, Federated Insurance, and Cooper Tire for providing food and prizes for everyone.

Bubba Hill and Donna Grant both won $100 gift certificates from Yokohama during the raffle giveaway. Other prizes raffled were emergency roadside kits and umbrellas. Each attendee received a bag full of prizes such as pens, hats, flashlights, and bottle-openers.

All those in attendance were guests of GTDRA from the Macon area. GTDRA furnished barbeque chicken, baked beans, and chips. Thanks to Larry Bush and Sean Plumstead for organizing this event. Also, thanks to Sean Plumstead, John and Donna Plumstead, and employees of Tire Distributors of GA for providing and setting up their warehouse space for the event. Also, thanks to Rob Miller and John Plumstead and all the other board members who did all the cooking.
